NORTH DUMFRIES TOWNSHIP (Nov 24, 2008) -- A 47-year-old woman escaped a head-on collision with non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday night. Just before 5:30 p.m., a Chevrolet Cavalier and a Jeep Cherokee collided on Highway 24, south of Myers Road. Firefighters cut the woman from her vehicle, and she was taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. The other driver, a 33-year-old man, was not hurt. No charges had been laid yesterday. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call Cambridge OPP at 519-654-0150.
