GUELPH (Jul 24, 2008) -- A Guelph woman accused of burning down her home with her teenage son inside was released under strict bail conditions yesterday. Janet Philp, 42, is charged with attempted murder and arson with disregard for human life. On July 15, neighbours pulled her from her burning home at 89 Milson Cres. Neighbours said her son, Taylor Morel, woke them up after he jumped out a window. Philp is free on a $5,000 bond and must stay with a longtime friend.
