A 29-year-old DUI suspect accused of causing a crash in Hollywood that killed a taxi driver was charged Tuesday with gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI, according to the District Attorney's Office. Avishkar Padhye was expected to be arraigned Thursday in downtown Los Angeles.
